To lift the timber, we inserted a nail about three to four feet down from the top, which we used to secure a strap for lifting.
Setting the Timber in the Ground
With the timber secured on the pallet attached to the forklift, we were able to position it in the ground. This method made setting the heavy 6×6 timber much more manageable and efficient.
Completing the Setup
After successfully setting the 6×6 16 timber in the ground, we were one step closer to building our pole barn. This method not only made the task easier but also showcased the importance of creative problem-solving in construction projects.
